Self-Regulatory Organization (SRO) Certificates
The Law On Amendments to the Town Planning Code and Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation was adopted in July 2008. In accordance with this law, issuing of new design and development licenses was discontinued as of January 1, 2009. Now many types of work have to be licensed by self-regulatory organizations.
A Self-regulatory Organization (SRO) is a non-commercial organization consisting of legal entities and/or individual entrepreneurs and established to regulate a certain professional domain. Each SRO introduces its own professional standards and regulations mandatory for the organization members, and monitors compliance. It also guarantees additional financial liability of its members to the customers.
Gazprom Gazenergoset JSC is a member of two non-commercial partnership self-regulatory organizations: NP SRO Gas Distribution System. Construction and NP SRO Gas Distribution System. Design, and has all the work permits required for safe capital construction.
